I love Pixis, I mean who can't love a man whose soldiers have the guts sass the king?! Plus he outright took a bottle of wine from the same king in the anime when he was first introduced. Really what's not to love about Pixis?
The flask is just amazing XD it's the calling card of his character it seems, though Moblit is stated to be the heaviest drinker in the cast. I've never done serious cosplay before but when I feel like being in character apparently it's a riot (I usually end up impersonating Rico, Ymir, or Sasha, but Hanji is my obsession). People always focus on the younger or main characters but the older or secondary characters are just as good and important! At my first Con I wasn't able to do a proper attack on titan cosplay, but apparently I was recognized as Sasha and a Shadis cosplayer and I did the whole potato scene, but with Pringles as opposed to a boiled potato due to the fact I'd already eaten my prop... it was my lunch actually XD Neither of us were perfect, or really had anything close to what we needed, but people recognized the scene and still wanted pictures. To me that's proof that sometimes the glory is in the lesser-known characters. At this same Con I also got the autograph of Armin's English voice actor so that was awesome as well (said con also had an overflow of attack on titan main characters, countless Eren and Levi cosplayers, and then a handful of others).
I'm not sure what the most popular part of a Hanji cosplay would be, or Y'mir, besides whatever pairing strikes a person's fancy. I mean Sasha has potato-related things (people kept bringing me potato chips and bread when the recognized me as Sasha and it seemed to make their day when I was in character), but the other two I plan to cosplay, not so much...
Bah there's fun in improvisation right?
